In China, economic activity is stabilising on the back of previous policy supports. Underlying price pressures are also broadly stable, with core CPI inflation edging up. The policy stance is likely to remain relatively supportive, although the pace of easing may slow. Property sales and prices show signs of slow recovery. Economic reforms have continued to progress. In particular, the momentum in financial liberalisation seems to be strong.
